THE CATKILLS OF NEW YORK
Mountain peaks, miles of trout streams,
cross-country trails, downhill ski areas, and
historic sites are just some of the numerous
attractions that one can enjoy when visiting the
Catkills.

PETOSKEY STONE
Michigan's State Stone, the Petoskey Stone,
may be found along the shores of Michigan's
Lower Peninsula, as well as in glacial drift.

CHARLESTON SINGLE HOUSE
Unique to Charleston,  a single house is built one
room wide and two deep with the narrow side facing the street.
Most have a one or two story piazza attached to the side which
was designed to catch the ocean breezes. Pictured here is one of
the few piazzas with oak floors.

FORT SUMTER NATIONAL MONUMENT
Early on April 12, 1861, a mortar shell fired from
Fort Johnson burst over Fort Sumter in Charleston
Harbor marking the first engagement of the American
Civil War.

A beautiful retro card of
New York City.
Notice the buildings are tilted... very
interesting.

Another retro card - this time of Chicago!
I love the bold and colourful cards of this style.
